Erika started having contractions at 12 am today and we went to the hospital at 1am. Her water broke soon after and the baby was on his way. No time for an epidural! The nurses started hopping around and scrambling cause this was happening quick. Erika handled the whole thing amazingly! He was born around 2 am after pushing during 3 contractions. He is 7lbs 12 oz. I don't know his length yet. We'll say...short.

Erika was saying she hoped it would be over Memorial Day weekend. What an obedient child. May that be a precursor of things to come. ;-) And congrats!!
